WillBridge, Ltd. (“WillBridge,” “we,” “us,” or “our”) respects your privacy and is committed to being transparent about how we collect, use, protect, and share information.

This Privacy Policy describes our practices regarding personal information collected through the WillBridge website at willbridge.io, including information you provide when you contact us, submit an inquiry, or otherwise interact with our website.

This Privacy Policy applies to our public-facing website. It does not replace or modify the agreements, data governance frameworks, privacy requirements, or other terms governing information that WillBridge processes on behalf of clients, community partners, or other organizations through DataCommunity™ or in connection with our professional services. See DataCommunity and Client Data below for more information.

1. Information We Collect

Depending on how you interact with our website, we may collect information that you provide directly to us and certain information generated when you use the website.

Information You Provide to Us

We may collect information that you voluntarily provide when you:

  • Submit a contact or inquiry form;

  • Request information about WillBridge or our services;

  • Express interest in working with or partnering with WillBridge;

  • Inquire about funding, investment, employment, collaboration, or other opportunities;

  • Communicate with us by email or through the website; or

  • Otherwise provide information directly to us.

Depending on the nature of your inquiry, this information may include your:

  • Name;

  • Organization;

  • Email address;

  • Phone number;

  • Professional profile or LinkedIn URL;

  • Organization or professional role;

  • Areas of interest;

  • Project, partnership, or funding interests;

  • Requested support;

  • Desired outcomes;

  • Experience and capabilities; and

  • Other information you choose to include in narrative responses.

Please do not submit health information, information about children, or personal details about specific individuals through our website forms. If your inquiry involves information like this, describe it in general terms and we will follow up about an appropriate way to discuss it.

Information Collected When You Use the Website

When you visit our website, our website platform and supporting technologies may process certain technical and usage information. Depending on how you interact with the site, this may include:

  • Pages visited and website paths;

  • Link and button interactions;

  • Referring website or page;

  • Campaign or UTM information included in a URL;

  • Country;

  • Device category;

  • Browser and operating system;

  • Browser or website locale;

  • Date and time of activity;

  • Time zone;

  • Website performance and web-vitals information;

  • Navigation and resource timing; and

  • Other technical information used to operate, measure, secure, and improve the website.

Our website analytics are designed to measure website activity without using persistent cross-day identifiers or analytics cookies. See Website Analytics and Similar Technologies below.

2. Information Submitted Through Our Forms

WillBridge uses Formspark, a third-party form-processing service, to receive and manage inquiries submitted through our website.

When you submit a form, the information you enter is transmitted to Formspark for processing on WillBridge’s behalf. Formspark stores the submission and provides it to authorized WillBridge personnel.

In connection with a submission, Formspark may also process technical information such as:

  • Your IP address;

  • Approximate location derived from your IP address;

  • Browser user agent;

  • Referring page; and

  • Website origin.

This information may be used to deliver submissions, maintain the security and reliability of the form service, identify or filter spam, and provide information about the source of submissions.

WillBridge does not currently send website form submissions automatically to other third-party platforms. If that changes, we will update this Privacy Policy.

Data Maturity Assessment

WillBridge offers an online Data Maturity Assessment at assess.willbridge.io. The assessment asks for your name, role, email address, and organization, along with the region and field in which your organization works, and then asks a series of questions about your organization’s data practices. Your responses and contact details are processed through Formspark in the same way as other website form submissions, and the assessment site is hosted by Netlify. We use your responses to provide your results and to follow up about them. If you complete the assessment as part of work with Data You Can Use, we also share your organization's responses with them, as described in How We Share Information.

3. How We Use Information

We may use information collected through our website to:

  • Respond to questions, requests, and inquiries;

  • Communicate with people and organizations interested in WillBridge;

  • Evaluate and pursue potential projects, partnerships, funding relationships, employment opportunities, and other forms of collaboration;

  • Provide information about our services and work;

  • Operate, maintain, secure, and improve our website;

  • Understand how visitors use our website;

  • Measure website traffic and performance;

  • Improve our communications, resources, and services;

  • Detect and prevent spam, fraud, misuse, security threats, or other harmful activity;

  • Maintain appropriate business and operational records;

  • Meet contractual, legal, regulatory, and compliance obligations; and

  • Carry out other purposes disclosed when information is collected or with your consent.

We do not use information collected through the WillBridge website to make automated decisions that produce legal or similarly significant effects about individuals.

4. How We Share Information

WillBridge does not sell personal information collected through our website.

We also do not use personal information collected through our website for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising.

We may disclose information in limited circumstances, including:

Service providers. We may provide information to vendors and service providers that help us host and operate our website, process website forms, provide analytics, maintain security, deliver communications, or perform other business functions. These providers may process information on our behalf subject to applicable contractual and legal requirements.

Our current website service providers include Framer, which provides website hosting and privacy-focused analytics, and Formspark, which processes website form submissions, and Netlify, which hosts our Data Maturity Assessment. We also use Microsoft 365 for email, so messages sent to a WillBridge email address, including privacy requests, are received and stored there.

Assessment partners. If you complete the Data Maturity Assessment as part of work with Data You Can Use, we share your organization's responses with Data You Can Use so they can support that work.

Professional advisors. We may disclose information when appropriate to attorneys, accountants, auditors, insurers, security professionals, or other professional advisors.

Legal and safety requirements. We may disclose information when we reasonably believe disclosure is required by law, regulation, court order, legal process, or governmental request, or when necessary to protect the rights, property, security, or safety of WillBridge or others.

Business transactions. If WillBridge is involved in a merger, acquisition, financing, restructuring, sale of assets, or similar organizational transaction, information may be disclosed as part of that process subject to appropriate safeguards.

With your direction or consent. We may share information when you ask us to do so or otherwise consent to the disclosure.

5. DataCommunity™ and Client Data

WillBridge provides data infrastructure and related services that enable communities and organizations to responsibly use and collaborate around data.

In these engagements, WillBridge may serve as a Data Custodian, maintaining secure infrastructure and processing information according to agreements, permissions, governance structures, and instructions established with participating organizations.

Information provided to WillBridge by clients, data owners, community partners, or other participating organizations through DataCommunity or related professional services is not governed by this website Privacy Policy. That information is subject to the applicable contracts, data-sharing agreements, data-use agreements, governance frameworks, legal requirements, and other terms established for the applicable engagement.

WillBridge does not obtain ownership of client or partner data merely because that information is stored or processed using WillBridge infrastructure. Data ownership and authority remain governed by the applicable agreements and community-defined governance structure.

WillBridge does not sell or monetize client or partner data entrusted to it through DataCommunity. Access, use, disclosure, retention, and destruction of such information are governed by the applicable agreements, authorized purposes, and established data governance processes.

Where applicable, these arrangements may include additional safeguards for information subject to laws or regulations governing education, health, or other sensitive information.

6. Website Analytics and Similar Technologies

WillBridge currently uses Framer’s built-in website analytics to understand how visitors use our website and to measure website performance.

Framer Analytics is designed to operate without analytics cookies or persistent cross-day visitor identifiers. It may process information such as pages viewed, link and button interactions, referral information, campaign parameters, country, device type, browser, operating system, locale, website performance information, and related technical information.

Framer may use a privacy-preserving identifier to estimate unique visitors within a limited daily measurement window rather than tracking an individual persistently across multiple days.

WillBridge does not currently use Google Analytics, Google Tag Manager, advertising pixels, cross-context behavioral advertising technologies, or similar marketing tracking technologies on the website.

Because URLs and referral information may be included in website analytics, visitors should avoid placing personal or sensitive information in website URL parameters.

Our website also uses externally hosted resources, such as font files, that may cause a visitor’s browser to connect to a third-party service. As with ordinary internet communications, such connections may transmit technical information such as an IP address, browser information, and the requested resource.

If we materially change the technologies we use for analytics, advertising, or tracking, we will review this Privacy Policy and any applicable consent requirements.

7. Cookies

WillBridge does not currently use cookies for website analytics, behavioral advertising, or advertising personalization.

Our current Framer Analytics implementation is cookie-free, and our website does not currently use Google Analytics or advertising pixels.

As our website and technology change, certain essential technologies may use cookies or similar browser storage to provide functionality, security, or other services. If we introduce non-essential cookies or tracking technologies that require notice or consent, we will update our practices and provide appropriate choices.

8. Data Security

WillBridge takes administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect information from unauthorized access, disclosure, alteration, loss, or misuse.

Depending on the information and system involved, safeguards may include access controls, authentication requirements, encryption, logging and monitoring, network protections, backups, vendor oversight, and security reviews.

No method of electronic transmission or storage can be guaranteed to be completely secure. Accordingly, while we work to protect information appropriately, we cannot guarantee absolute security.

9. Data Retention

We retain personal information for as long as reasonably necessary to fulfill the purposes for which it was collected, maintain appropriate business and operational records, comply with legal or contractual obligations, resolve disputes, and protect our rights.

We retain website form submissions for one (1) year after our last communication with the person who submitted them, unless a longer period is needed for an ongoing business relationship, a legal obligation, or the resolution of a dispute. Submissions through the Join the WillBridge Team path are retained for two (2) years after the related hiring decision. After those periods, we delete the submissions from our form-processing provider.

Our form-processing provider retains the IP address and approximate location associated with a submission for up to 12 months. Other technical information may be retained by our service providers for separate periods for purposes such as spam prevention, security, service operation, and recovery of recently deleted information.

Retention requirements for information processed through DataCommunity or client engagements may be established separately through the applicable agreements and governance requirements.

When information is no longer required, we may delete, destroy, or de-identify it in accordance with applicable requirements and our data-management practices.

10. Third-Party Websites and Services

Our website contains links to websites, platforms, and services operated by third parties.

Ordinary external links do not cause those third-party websites to receive information from you merely because the link appears on a WillBridge page. If you choose to follow a link or interact directly with a third-party service, however, that organization’s privacy policy and practices will apply to your interaction.

WillBridge does not control the privacy practices of third parties. We encourage you to review their privacy policies before providing personal information.

11. Your Privacy Choices and Rights

You may contact WillBridge to ask about personal information you have provided directly to us through our website or to request that we access, correct, or delete that information.

Depending on where you live and applicable law, you may have additional rights regarding your personal information, which may include rights to:

  • Request access to certain personal information;

  • Request correction of inaccurate personal information;

  • Request deletion of certain personal information;

  • Request a portable copy of certain information;

  • Obtain information about how personal information is used or disclosed; or

  • Exercise other rights provided by applicable privacy law.

These rights may be subject to exceptions and limitations under applicable law.

We may need to verify your identity before fulfilling certain requests. We will not discriminate against you for exercising privacy rights provided by applicable law.

Requests concerning information that WillBridge processes on behalf of a client, data owner, or community partner may need to be directed to or coordinated with that organization because WillBridge may not have independent authority to fulfill the request.

12. Children’s Privacy

The WillBridge public website is intended primarily for organizations, professionals, community leaders, partners, and others interested in our work. It is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly seek to collect personal information directly from children under 13 through the public website.

Please do not submit information about children through our public website forms.

WillBridge may process information concerning children or students as part of authorized DataCommunity or client engagements. When it does, that processing is governed by the applicable agreements, permissions, data governance requirements, and laws rather than by ordinary public website interactions.

If you believe a child has provided personal information directly through our public website inappropriately, please contact us at privacy@willbridge.io.

13. Communications

If you provide your contact information to WillBridge, we may use it to respond to your request and communicate with you about matters related to your inquiry, prospective engagement, relationship with WillBridge, or our work.

If we send optional promotional or marketing communications, you may opt out of those communications using the instructions provided in the message or by contacting us.

Opting out of promotional communications will not prevent us from sending necessary transactional, service-related, contractual, or administrative communications.

14. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically to reflect changes in our practices, technology, services, or legal requirements.

When we make changes, we will update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page. If changes are material, we may provide additional notice when appropriate.
